SEOUL (dp) – Hyundai Veloster is being assessed for entry into Indonesia. Latest three-door coupe that has been traded in several countries in Asia, Europe, and North America will add to the portfolio of PT Hyundai Mobil Indonesia (HMI) as the planning.
As stated by Sales and Marketing Director HMI Erwin Djajadiputra to Dapurpacu.com in Seoul, South Korea. According to Erwin, Veloster is an interesting model that has a chance to be favored by Indonesian consumers.
“I think the cars with a unique form now being loved in Indonesia, especially big cities like Jakarta,” said Erwin. “A car with a hatchback like the Veloster is also advantageous in tax matters.”
Erwin himself had asked the Dapurpacu.com about market opportunities when Veloster trade into the Indonesia. Although there is no competitor that has a model like Veloster, Erwin agreed that the price will determine the success of a car which have been designed in Europe.
Erwin did not dispute that the success of Nissan Juke became one rationale Veloster the HMI market. “Who thought a car with unique designs such as the Juke it can be absorbed with a good market. Indonesian consumers apparently already saturated with ordinary models, “he continued.
